WATCH: Camp and Furnace is now open during the day providing great food, vibes and music
It may be one of Liverpool’s best-loved nightspots – but Camp and Furnace has now opened its doors to a fantastic range of daytime offerings, becoming the new meeting place for Baltic workers and visitors of the region.
Think great food, laid back vibes and the best music – in fact, everything your favorite place has ever offered, but now…while the sun is still shining.
Becky Rascal, Events Manager at the Baltic site, says: “Camp and Furnace is known for its incredible nighttime selection, but now we are bringing Camp and Furnace into the day as well.
“We want to offer our Baltic and the local community the opportunity to come and experience Camp and Furnace during the day. On weekdays, it’s a bit of a hub, a place where people can come, bring their laptops, get some work done, and have great affordable healthy food options.
The Greenland Street destination will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, and people can choose to sit indoors or go al fresco in the outdoor lobby and camp courtyard areas.
“There will be discounts and offers for people who work in the Baltic region and a loyalty program. For example, if you buy five meals, you will get the sixth meal free,” adds Becky.
On Sundays starting September 4, Camp and Furnace will also be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with food, drink, music, and sports offerings for those not ready to finish the weekend!
Camp and Furnace’s infamous Fan Park returns with all Football League games screened, and in the lobby DJs will be playing a mix of house, funk, disco and soul.
Food for all dietary needs will be on offer courtesy of the fantastic Burnt Orange, Camp’s new in-house catering team, with their summer menu – featuring vegetable and meat brunch boxes filled with tons delicious treats, avocado on toast, homemade pancakes and sausage and egg on toast.
Burnt Orange’s main menu will include salads, sandwiches and snacks along with mouth-watering entrees like Creole chicken, sweet soy-glazed salmon and 5-bean chipotle feijoada simmered over sweet potato. (Not to mention the incredible sides such as the twice-baked Jersey Royal pots and the macaroni and cheese croquettes).
Sunday Social will provide even more on the food supply front Becky tells us: “Camp has always been known for its infamous Sunday roast, so roasts are making a comeback – only this time in the form of a giant roast wrap from Sunday to Yorkshire Pudding!” … It makes us hungry just thinking about it!
“We want to offer a space to relax on the weekend, where people can come socialize, have a bite to eat, watch football if they wish or listen to good music indoors or in the sun, our cocktail Le menu will also feature Sunday favorites including Bloody Marys, Espresso Martinis and Mimosas.
“Days are pretty much all Camp has to offer, it’s not just about coming here to watch a band, DJ or have a drink and a night out. There are two sides to Camp – and we want people to enjoy both!
