There’s not long left until The Aylsham Show 2022, which promises an action-packed day of farming, food and fun.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the event:

Where is The Aylsham Show and what are the dates and times?

The 2022 Aylsham Show takes place at the Blickling Estate (NR11 6NF).

The show, which has been at the heart of the county’s social and agricultural calendar for more than 70 years, returns on the holiday Monday, August 29, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What can I expect?

Visitors can expect an exciting program of ringside attractions as well as demonstrations and activities in rural areas.

Highlights include the Tiger Army Parachute Display Team, the Terry Stunt Show and the Horse Rider Company.

There will also be livestock competitions, rural crafts, vintage cars and a funfair.

New for 2022 is a countryside ring and children’s trail allowing the youngest to explore the origins of food, farming and the countryside.

What food and drink will be available at the show?

The popular Food Hall returns for 2022 and will once again be a celebration of Norfolk produce.

New entrants for 2022 include Norwich Porridge, Heather’s Popcorn, Norfolk Jar Kitchen, Big Time Brownies, Grumpy Panda coffee, Old Hall Farm cheeses and Norfolk Doggy Deli.

How do I get there and where can I park?

The Aylsham show is located at the Blickling Estate near Aylsham.

The course will be well marked during the day.

There are plenty of free parking spaces.

Is there disabled access to the lounge?

There will be blue badge parking near the entrance and an observation section adjacent to the main ring.

There will also be a mobility center with items available for hire and a Mobiloo with an electric winch and changing table.

Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash, but owners should be careful near any livestock and food outlets.

How much do tickets cost and where can I buy them?

Advance tickets are available now from the Aylsham show website for £20, with under-16s free.

You can also buy in person at any of the outlets listed online.
