How to make Khichdi Butter Chicken:

To make khichdi butter chicken, you need rice, chicken, tomato puree, onion, curd, cream, salt, red chili powder, butter, bay leaf, sugar, kasoori methi, ginger-garlic paste, cinnamon stick, garam masala, turmeric powder, cloves and cardamom.

Marinate the chicken pieces with the curd, ginger and garlic paste, red pepper and salt. Set aside. Then in a casserole dish add the butter, whole spices, onion and brown. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook. Then pour in the tomato puree, salt, red pepper, turmeric, sugar and cook for a while. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes.

Finally, add the soaked rice, water, mix everything and close the lid. Cook under pressure for a while, then open the lid and soak the water. Sprinkle with kasoori methi, mix everything together and serve hot.
