Organizers have announced the lineup for Akron Pizza Fest, back after the pandemic was interrupted in 2020. Seven pizzerias and the schedule are set for the festival-competition in downtown Akron. The inaugural three-day event attracted approximately 15,000 people: About Akron Pizza Fest

La Bastille culinary benefit evening is approaching

La Bastille, a festive culinary fundraiser for Edwins Second Chance Life Skills Center, is scheduled for this month. The Parisian-inspired summer evening with New Orleans flair will feature French cuisine, drinks and live entertainment to benefit Edwins, who hires and trains recently released inmates. Five Star Sensation returns in a different format

Five Star Sensation, the huge biennial fundraiser that draws top local and national chefs to benefit Seidman Cancer Center teaching hospitals, arrives this year but in a different format.
